The print job happens in your browser.

Images and PDF files

PaperFit reads your selected images locally. It uses your browser to prepare them and generate the PDF. The app does not upload image contents, filenames, image dimensions, PDF contents or image metadata. The current project is kept in memory and cleared when you reload or close the page.

Preferences on your device

We use browser local storage to remember paper size, orientation, measurement units, margins, gaps and cutting-guide preferences. No image files are stored there. You can remove these preferences by clearing this website’s storage in your browser. The studio works if storage is unavailable.

Basic experiment counts

PaperFit sends a small fixed event label, such as “PDF exported” or “import error”, and the selected paper preset to its own server. The application stores aggregate daily counts to understand whether the tool is used and where it fails. It does not create an account, session identifier or visitor profile. It does not store an IP address or user agent in this counter database. PaperFit’s own automated event counts respect the browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. This applies to our event counter, separately from the Cloudflare measurements described below.

A download count means the browser was asked to save a PDF. It does not prove that the file was printed successfully or represent a unique person.

Optional feedback

If you choose an outcome on the feedback page, that outcome and your paper preset are counted. Feedback has no free-text, photo or contact-information field. Sending feedback is voluntary, including when an automated tracking preference is enabled.

Hosting and network requests

Cloudflare hosts the website and processes the network requests needed to serve it. As with any website request, the hosting provider receives network information such as your IP address. This is separate from our aggregate application counters. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its processing practices. Fonts and application libraries are served with the site; the tool does not load an external image-processing service.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page views, referring websites, device and browser categories, and page-loading performance. Cloudflare serves a small analytics script that sends measurements to the Cloudflare endpoint on this website. This is separate from PaperFit’s upload, export and feedback counters.

PaperFit does not send your selected images, filenames, image dimensions or PDF contents to this analytics service. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as a privacy-first service that does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. See Cloudflare’s Web Analytics description and measurement categories for details. Browser features or extensions that block the Cloudflare beacon can prevent these measurements.

Advertising and changes

There are currently no advertising scripts or cross-site advertising cookies in PaperFit. If advertising is added, this notice and any necessary consent controls will be updated first.

We plan to retain aggregate experiment counts for up to 12 months. The counters do not contain a visitor identity that can be searched for an individual record.
